Be careful downloading free programs

Some of the useful applications and tools we run on our computers are free downloads available on the internet including the likes of Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Java, WinRAR etc.

It has been increasingly popular for software vendors to bundle it with other applications which in most cases we don’t use or don’t want installed on our computers.  Some of these extra applications and toolbars can cause issues or slow down your computer.

Next time you download some software, make sure you read the prompts and un-tick any included extra software (unless you really need it).
