Brisbane South | Managed Services

 

TechPath is a leading IT service provider based on the south side of Brisbane. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our rapidly expanding team.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar industry role and enjoy working with clients in a variety of industries. Salary will be based on previous experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sell new business solutions that will support the customer’s business goals
  • Sell solutions across all of our service offerings including Managed Services, Project and Professional Services, Security, Network, Communications, and Cloud
  • Build and maintain an accurate and viable pipeline
  • Manage and grow new accounts

What Experience You Will Bring To The Team

  • Minimum 5 years of proven C level business development sales experience with businesses of 50-250 user size
  • A positive attitude and a compelling desire to be one step ahead of new technology and solutions
  • An autonomous, self-motivated, and result-orientated individual that loves contributing to the wider team
  • A detailed understanding of the sales process, solution selling methodologies, lead acquisition, and relationship management
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels

We are currently seeking a Level 1 remote support engineer to join our rapidly expanding team.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar industry role and enjoy working with clients in a variety of industries. Salary will be based on previous experience with overtime opportunities and performance bonuses available.

 

The Position

  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times
  • Responding to incoming help desk incidents in a timely manner
  • Basic server admin tasks – new user accounts and password resets
  • Basic troubleshooting for end user and desktop support
  • Server maintenance checks
  • Backup monitoring
  • Antivirus monitoring and management
  • Software upgrades (backup software, windows service packs etc)
  • Completion of documentation in job tracking applications
  • Career progression opportunities available

 

Skills and Proficiency

Required

To be successful in this role you must have experience in some or all of the following technologies:

  • Cert IV in IT or equivalent
  • Desktop support – OS and business applications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Commitment to the delivery of quality service
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Prior experience working with a systems integrator or managed services will be viewed favourably

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support and problem resolution
  • Support a diverse range of platforms and technologies
  • Troubleshooting, provisioning and support of internet services
  • Project management

Skills and Proficiency

Required

To be successful in this role you must have experience in some or all of the following technologies:

  • MS Server Technologies – including Server 2008-2016; SBS; AD; DFS; DHCP; DNS; TS/RDS
  • VMware and HyperV – setup and administration
  • Exchange 2010-2016 and Office 365 – migrations, installation and management
  • Backup and Recovery – Veeam, ShadowProtect, BackupAssist
  • Desktop support – OS and business applications
Desirable

Experience in the following areas is advantageous:

  • SQL
  • SharePoint
  • Citrix XenApp
